Project Description
With the rationalising of some of Smith + Nephew’s UK sites, the research and development laboratories located in York were relocated to the Hull City Centre site adjacent to the A63.
The project involved the refurbishment of three existing buildings either side of a service yard located to the north east part of the site, to provide new state of the art laboratories and spacious open plan office space, in order to re consolidate development and research at Hull.
The Hull site has recently undergone a site wide refurbishment program as well as substantial flood protection works to the whole of the perimeter of the site that will future proof the site for the foreseeable future.
